conferences with teachers held october 21st and 22nd
Parent-teacher conferences will be held Wednesday and Thursday, October 21st and 22nd. Conferences are scheduled for 15-minute time slots. Please help us stay on schedule by arriving on time and respecting the next parent’s appointment start time.
A good working relationship between parents and teachers is extremely important. Parents are a child's first teacher. It is critical that both parent and teacher know that the goals for the child are indeed shared goals. Both teacher and parent want what is best for the child/student. Copeland teachers welcome parents to share in the educational goals of the student.
What information would be helpful to share? Here are some ideas -- let the teacher know:
Babysitting Available in the Gym

THANK YOU, GIRL SCOUTS!!!!

halloween read in
Come join us for a night of spook-tacular storytelling! Thursday, October 29th, Copeland school will be hosting its annual Halloween Read-in. Students are invited to come dressed in pjs or costumes. We will meet in the cafeteria at 6:30 to be assigned to groups. The groups, lead by teachers, will then adjourn to a classroom to hear Halloween tales. In order to insure that we have enough supplies for all students, a permission slip is required. These slips were sent home on Tuesday and must be turned in by next Tuesday, October 27th, in order for your child to join the fun. Students will be given an accessory to help them get in the Halloween mood for their stories, as well as a popcorn ball that can be taken home at the end of the night. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Mrs. Johnson at [email protected] with questions.
